Who we are

QuarkScape is made by LeptonO Inc. (“we”, “us”), a Canadian software company. This policy explains how the QuarkScape mobile app and this website handle information. If you have a question about it, email us at support@leptono.com.

Information you keep in the app

Everything you enter — your business details and logo, clients, sites, jobs, quotes, costs, stock, expenses, payments, crew and job photos — is stored only on your device. It is not sent to us, and we have no way to see it.

• Camera and photos. The app asks for camera or photo library access only when you choose to attach a picture to a job. Pictures are saved inside the app on your device.
• Backups. When you create a backup, the app builds a single file and hands it to your phone’s share sheet. You decide where it goes (for example Google Drive, email or your computer). We never receive your backups.
• Calls, texts, emails and maps. Tapping a client’s phone number, email or address opens your phone’s own app. QuarkScape doesn’t send these itself.

Advertising (free plan)

The free plan shows ads served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, device type and how you interact with ads.

• Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), the app asks for your consent using Google’s consent form before any ad is requested.
• On iPhone and iPad, the app asks for permission to track through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, ads are not personalised using your advertising identifier.
• You can reset or delete your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings.

Pro subscribers see no ads, so no ad requests are made. Google’s use of this information is covered by how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Subscriptions (Pro)

Pro is bought through Google Play or the Apple App Store, which handle your payment. We never see your card or payment details. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase receipts from the store — not your name or the data in your book. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.

What we don’t do

• We don’t require or offer an account.
• We don’t use analytics or crash-reporting services in the app.
• We don’t sell your personal information.

This website

This website has no sign-up, contact form or analytics. Like any website, our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, for security and operations.

Keeping and deleting your data

Because your data lives on your device, you control it. Deleting the app removes everything it stored, so make a backup first if you want to keep your book. Backup files you have saved elsewhere stay there until you delete them.

Children

QuarkScape is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to how it is used. As we don’t hold the data you keep in the app, most requests are about ads or purchases — we’ll help you with those or point you to the right provider. Email support@leptono.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
